The university “bilgi” was founded in Istanbul in 1994 by the scientific center of the United States of America. Since then, the university has made every effort to provide the highest levels of education. The network conducts exchanges between faculty members and students, participating in the curriculum, and develops dual-degree programmes with new resources. Bilgi students become part of the largest university network around the world, which comprises 150 universities in 28 countries and over 1 million students worldwide.
The bilateral exchange program allow Bilgi students to study in educational institutions in North America, as well as exchange program within the EU countries. Bilgi University has over 700 agreements with more than 200 universities in 26 European countries as part of Erasmus program only.
